I can't make music myself....
for the downloaded music on my phone I listen to (which I download with NewPipe, though I think I'll move on to YoutubeCTL or whatever it's called), I use musicolet. It's a very simple yet powerful piece of software, fully offline, and pretty customisable, for a mobile app anyway. I like it a lot. It's fully free, no advertisements or whatever. There is a pro-version, but it barely adds anything. I still bought it just because I wanted to support it :3

for spotify, I use xmanager and stuff to remove adds and stop shuffle
now that we're busy with that, I also use youtube revanced
